A few updates for this post.  What can we do while waiting for The Mandalorian and Grogu? Well there is also a new Mario movie out called The Super Mario Galaxy Movie.  I have already been recommended to see this by a friend who regarded it highly.  I recently produced a video for the band For2itous about the skate park concert.  One can find it linked on my channel in playlists (Videos Produced by Ckwal).  Their band has already started working on a new album and so have we!

I now have three new recordings started for Stella finally, a new song called Not the Same and a tune I started in Korea when I lived there inspired by a relationship during the time I went to Berklee College of Music.  I dated an artist who was going to school and working at the Museum of Fine Arts Boston.  I was also experimenting with alcohol for the first time since I turned twenty-one when I first moved to Boston.  For some reason Jim Beam always turned my skin to patches of red.  Later I remembered that and wondered why it seemed to be only Jim Beam that did that to me.  Secret Jim Beam Bubble Bath was born!  Actually the entire album is themed off a concept which follows up from Stint of Devotion.  The title of Stint of Devotion is derived from a scent by Victoria’s Secret which an important person in my life used to wear.  The cover of the forthcoming release is also a bottle of perfume.  It’s based off another popular designer scent which is now discontinued.  One may recognize the designer’s name from the popular book and movie, which now fittingly has a sequel out.   So there are some personal details showing up on these two albums before I move on entirely to new concepts.

Some albums out worth noting that I listened to recently.  Car Park North’s Air, Young the Giant’s Victory Garden, The Black Key’s Peaches! and Bright Eyes’ Down in the Weeds, Where the World Once Was (available at Rocking Chair Records, St. Augustine on vinyl)I started a trial of Qobuz because they seem to be the superior music service out there.  With their Sublime subscription, listeners can option to buy albums at a discount on top of unlimited previewing.  This is the only model that makes sense that I’ve seen today and not only that, their customer service for artists is excellent.  The don’t limit bios by character, communicate directly with humans and treat people as valued customers.  Their social media is all over the place, however if you value music, I would recommend them over anyone else.  I’m definitely not sponsored by anyone in that comment.
