This week I was following up about a job opportunity to teach at Guitar Center and also was looking at keyboards.  Every one has a different type of key action, that it’s really important to play many different keys before committing.  I took a long time to buy my acoustic guitar I currently own.  I used to have many different guitars and other instruments.  I still miss some of the previous models I used to own, still these days my budget requires me to do extensive research and find the equipment that performs just as good as the expensive stuff I used to fall for right away.  Besides that I have been finishing Stint of Devotion.  It’s currently at ten songs and thirty minutes.  Seven tracks are new and have never been released.  One of those seven I mostly wrote while I was attending Berklee around 2002.  It has been on my mind since then and I finally added a few lines and recorded it this year.  One of the lines now holds the title of the album.  One of the other three is a song I used to play with a coworker in South Korea when he moved to Taiwan.  I was remembering our time together when I visited Atlanta because that is his hometown.  I finally made a new recording of that song and added it to the latest album.  I’m thinking of playing some drums to the latest DOA which is on the live EP (now available on the shop).  The shop can be found in the menu of this blog and is ready to accept orders.  The live EP can be bought as a digital download provided one has a reliable internet connection and space on your computer or device.  The shop should be also be able to be accessed through ckwal.com within 24 hours or so as a quick link.  I mastered the album last night and making final decisions about if there will be additional tracks added depending on how DOA goes and will put that album on the store as well.  I may release that to other outlets and possibly join some social media platforms in the future.
