I finally added drums to DOA and then I went through my notebook to see if there were additional songs to copyright for Stint of Devotion.  The official copyright registration allows ten tracks for the unpublished group and I currently have eight new ones.  I found one that has substantial lyrics and notes called Goth Night.  I couldn’t exactly remember how it went, however I made some changes last night and did a quick memo of it.  Today I put down tracks for the song.  So I’m definitely going to put that as one of the ending tracks, possibly the final tune.  That will put the album close to forty minutes when this recording is finished.  I can’t wait for some listeners to hear this new stuff because I really think I’m maturing in my songwriting and finding a new voice after all these years during the past months of dedicated practice and focus in life.   Looking forward to the Super Bowl next Sunday.
