I’m working on the EP and editing live video sessions; cutting those with audio.  There are a couple items I’ve added to the future store: my first studio album with band Lighthouse called You’ll See.  My Dad has a lot of copies of the original album in shrink-wrapped jewel case I’ll be offering up for the first time since 1998.  Everyone disbanded going to college that year and I only submitted a few to record companies that summer before it was put away.  Another item is a print from an original artwork by my grandmother Lois Dunn who passed just over four and a half years ago.  It’s an amazing work of art which is a depiction of an image of Christ called Christhead that has an effect similar to those magic eyes that were so popular growing up which can sneak up on you at surprising times.  It was produced in 1976, four years before I was born.  There are many pristine copies that have never made it to a public sale offering before.  Also the limited edition USB keys with the Ckwal logo are on the way and will be able to contain around five albums, five videos and five booklets.

I’ve attached a couple of new dishes below I was able to photograph.  One is a breakfast of potatoes, avocado and kale.  The other is penne pasta with Beyond Meat’s Beyond Steak Plant-Based Seared Tips. It’s crazy how during the vegan journey one might want to replace all those dishes we used to call comfort food and then later start to get disturbed by the resemblance of textures or tastes you finally mimicked. So actually we hope to be able to tell the difference often and that food art is quite complexing. Sometimes I’m not even sure I want to eat anything at all. Still I feel like I haven’t shared enough of my vegan journey because people get defensive or the opposite reactions of what you’d expect happen, so I’m trying to make an effort for other solo vegans out there.
