Yesterday I did a recording session with every song from the new songs and a couple of old ones including video in my condo.  It’s a little bit like a Tiny Desk Concert setup in my main living room and I’ve been telling stories about the songs as well.  I’m not sure what context I would release this stuff yet, just testing out the possibilities and seeing what works instead of buying a mirror.  I was really lucky though and with all the practice I’ve been doing, managed to get good takes of every track.  I still have to review the material in detail because I also did a few more songs today and filling up an organized binder of sheet music for a live set if I ever get the chance.  I made a new type of vegan pizza yesterday as well.  Instead of a paste-based tomato sauce, I used only vine-ripened tomatoes, cucumbers and sliced black olives.  The crust was seasoned while mixing the dough with Indian culture inspired spices like garam masala and turmeric.  The cheese is Daiya’s dairy-free cheddar shreds.  It has a much fresher taste and takes well to dips like Brianna’s Real French.
