Bill of Rights Day, Historical Cat Herders’ Day, International Tea Day, National Cupcake Day, National Lemon Cupcake Day, National Wear Your Pearls Day…
I’ve been busy planning the tracks for next year’s EP or possibly full album and started recording unexpectedly. There has been a panic to get started immediately and I put many other plans aside and have basically stayed in on condo lockdown trying to fast forward my plans. It has been quite the heated task. Frustrating, irritating, fun and full of tears. Each day God puts me on a new schedule and I’m always surprised at what the things are I achieve. It is very sad battling evil and angers while trying to trust people at this stage in my life. I also posted a second lyric video for one of the tracks from One Way to Bangkok. I don’t have many video clips, however it has been fun experimenting with new video editing techniques using technology that makes things much easier and faster than ever before. I guess the biggest challenge we sometimes face is making choices between all the options presented or available. Having lived abroad and being limited in many different ways, I have learned to make more precise decisions by imposing limitations on myself in the manner in which I learned them. Money is the worst one of them all, though when I have had it or thought the best stuff was always the most expensive, things weren’t easier. Also I am learning new things by trying to do things cheaper. Still I realize it’s difficult to start again with downgraded equipment and always hope for a similar result.
On the topic of the motorcycle trip, I have had to make changes to the itinerary. The posts have been updated, however in case anyone was planning to meet me there or was still expecting something particular, I must say I can’t promise what the new stops and order will be. I will probably still be departing on the 17th, however I may try to drive to Atlanta in one shot. That would allow me to spend more time there for the holiday. It’s possible I’ll return to Florida via Savannah on the way back instead of the other route through Tifton, still it depends on weather conditions and how everything goes on the way there. I haven’t ever driven as far as I’m attempting in one day on a motorcycle, let alone a sport bike. The weather is looking like it won’t be as cold as I prepared for if I drive during the day, however that doesn’t necessarily make it easier. I will probably still need to wear my coat and other protective gear, so that may present a different challenge. Also another rider pointed out to me that my chain is a bit loose. I haven’t yet attempted to fix that because the manual says one is supposed to replace cotter pins with new ones if you remove them. Anyway I can’t wait to show you some pictures of what will mostly be a new city for me to see.
Title inspiration info brought to you by National Day Many radio announcers say these days on the air, however my favorite was Payton who used to be a host of a rock show in Grand Island, Nebraska.
