Special thanks to Nathan West for getting me started on this project earlier than planned. I was hoping to remotely record with him on drums and a previous roommate from college who teaches music in Kansas City (Dominic Serrano), however the long distance communications for this album proved to be too difficult once the whole thing started gaining momentum. This music is dedicated to some past relationships and unrequited ones as well. Not only with friends and family, but with cities and work.

Mostly acoustic singer-songwriter with some reggae and dance drum influences. A tad jazzy with occasional bass lines and hints of bluesy songwriting, still focused on meaning in the songs and raw emotion. Dark times, deep struggle and themes from the view at the finish line.

Influences heard and/or remembered:

Billy Joel
Bob Marley
Bob Dylan
Nirvana unplugged/Kurt Cobain
Ryan Adams
Elvis
Jeff Buckley
Gotye
STP unplugged/Scott Weiland
