Part 2 – Plan some stuff to do
So possibly you booked the trip to Mexico City and have some time to pre-plan or make arrangements. Most of this is stress about getting around and we are just familiarizing, so if internet isn’t available and we’re nervous or confused, we’ll still be confident about some framework. I like to get a Metro card charged up and in this case there is a light rail too, but just pay for that on one round trip when you get there. First idea:
Xochimilco (Little Venice) 1hr26min from hotel, 8 pesos each way (see screenshots).
Near Museum of Anthropology.
Av. Paseo de la Reforma s/n, Polanco, Bosque de Chapultepec I Secc, Miguel Hidalgo, 11560 Ciudad de México, CDMX, Mexico
Garibaldi station Metro B (Red symbol) 38min towards Campo Marte, stop at Anthropóloga, 6 pesos each way (see screenshots).
Some entries free; it is the last Wednesday of each month. This trip it falls on December 29th.
Biergarten, C. Querétaro 225, Roma Nte., Cuauhtémoc
Walk one hourish.
Head West to Paseo de la Reforma, take a left until you bump into Ángel de la Independencia, hook a left and stay reasonably straight crossing Chapultepec and passing Villa de Madrid on the right then under Insurgentes Sur and right after City Tattoo Mex on Querétaro.
Not far from there. Continue West and go left on Medellin until Coahuila and left again to find Por Siempre Vegana 2
Coahuila 169, Roma Nte., Cuauhtémoc, 06700 Ciudad de México, CDMX, Mexico
Happy Cow Reviews.
